Knowing what you want goes a long way in assuring that you find the right Photography and Videography solution.

What Photography Style Excites You?

There are basically two approaches to wedding photography: Traditional and Photojournalism. The attitudes are very different and will result in a completely different wedding album.

Traditional wedding photography:

Traditional wedding photography consists of formal portraits of the bride, groom, wedding party and family members, as well as carefully posed photographs at each key moment of your wedding.

The Benefits: Traditional photographers make sure they get photos of each traditionally important person and moment.

Drawbacks: The photographer, out of necessity, must direct the wedding party and guests to ensure the portraits are captured on schedule.

Wedding photojournalism:

Photojournalism has become a very popular way to record your special day. Like a news reporter, the photographer strives to tell the story of the day by capturing the events as they happen with the natural emotions and candid people.

Benefits: Wedding photojournalism provides unique images that embody the moment they were taken rather than moments created for a picture. Your album will tell the story of your wedding.

Drawbacks: There is no pre-planned list of poses, only the photographer's instincts. Low levels of available light may cause some pictures to look grainy. You may want some traditional, posed portraits in your album.

Our Style:

We offer both traditional and photojournalism photography solutions. We work with you to determine what is important to you. Once we receive a booking, we request that the couple provide a desired pose list. That way we can be sure to capture those moments for you to treasure with as little interruption and delay to your wedding as possible.

Two Cameras are Better Than One:

We come to every wedding with two photographers. This allows us to focus on both the traditional poses and the candid moments at the same time. Having multiple perspectives adds a unique and powerful dimension to your wedding portraits that just cannot be captured through one lens.

Videography Services:

We also offer full videography services. Our team will shoot your wedding with at least three cameras to be sure to catch every angle. You will receive a full-featured DVD of your special day with a variety of bonus features included.
